Pluckk x Kareena Kapoor Khan - brand film + online/offline campaign

The Brief:

Pluckk, a D2C grocery brand had onboarded Kareena Kapoor Khan as the brand ambassador and wanted us to create a series of brand films that generate awareness and get the word out there about Pluckk’s range of unique offerings. The challenge was that we had just 5 hours to shoot with our celebrity Kareena Kapoor Khan and had to ensure we would be able to shoot and capture a range of films that could be stitched into a holistic campaign. We also had to execute a photoshoot and create additional content that could be used across an extensive online/offline campaign for the brand.


My Role:

My role involved creatively leading every aspect of this project from inception to delivery. I wrote the scripts for the films and pitched them to the client which was critical in ensuring we get picked by the brand to shoot and execute these films. I then played a crucial role in figuring out how to creatively and logistically use the little time we have with Kareena to shoot not just one brand film but over 10 pieces of additional brand content featuring the celebrity as well as a photoshoot which could then be used to create 360-degree content for the brand across media including YouTube, Instagram, website, packaging, app and more. I then proceeded to work closely with the production team to deliver a holistic campaign that garnered results for the client.


The Result:

The main brand film has garnered over 300,000+ impressions so far with a range of micro-films pending release. At a business level, while Kareena Kapoor Khan was onboarded as just an ambassador, she loved the campaign and our efforts so much that it paved the way for the brand to onboard her as an active investor in the company. While the campaign is still ongoing, it has already generated a massive spike in search for the brand as well as helped them grow their community and onboard new customers.
